12 Ways to Reclaim Your Energy After a Stressful Situation
Get your energy back after dealing with those stressful life moments, because Netflix binges only go so far. From reclaiming your personal space to remembering who you are (hint: it’s fabulous), this checklist helps you move forward without accidentally adopting your ex’s weird habits.
Drink water
You cried, you cursed, maybe you even dehydrated. Refill.
Move your body
Dance wildly. Walk slowly. Shake it out. Emotions get stuck in muscles too.
Clear your space
Purge all the stuff you have been collecting for years. Smudge the corners. Change your sheets. Say: “This is my space.”
Cut energetic cords
Imagine a string from yourself to whatever situation or person that you wish to disconnect from. Gently snip it with light or breath. No anger needed. This is your energy bubble and only love can penetrate it.
Scream into a pillow
Because… yeah. It helps.
Write the unsent letter
Let it pour out. Burn it if you want. Say what needs saying, for you.
Claim your mornings
Start one new ritual that’s just for you: tea, journaling, no-phone walk, candle… Choose you daily.
Cry it out
Feel it fully. You don’t need to spiritual-bypass your sadness. You’re not weak, you’re releasing.
Revisit who you were before
Look at old pictures, playlists, journals. Re-meet your past self, not to go back, but to remember.
Call your energy home
Reconnect with yourself. Breathe, meditate, or simply pause and notice your body and heart.
Need a little extra magic? A shamanic healing session can help snip those leftover energetic cords, so you can finally stop carrying other people's baggage and maybe even dance a little while you’re at it.
